Meet the Founder
Dr. Umesh Pai
Dr.Umesh Pai is a specialist Prosthodontist and Implantologist and completed his Masters in 2006.He then underwent training in Implantology and Advanced Techniques and is an ITI Fellow.He also trained in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics from Kings college trainers at Pune. He Completed his Certificate course in CBCT from Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
He is an Astute Clinician and an Exceptional Academician and has many National and International Publications to his credit in some high quality journals.He has also lectured on various national platforms on the subject.He is a Reviewer for Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society, Contemporary Clinical Dentistry, Indian journal of Dental Research among many other indexed journals.
He is also Section Editor for Prosthodontics in Contemporary Clinical dentistry and is currently Editor for Annals of Clinical Prosthodontics, official e publication of IPS Karnataka state branch.
He is the Director of Mangalore ITI study club and is also the Key opinion Leader of Coltene Whaledent.
He has also won awards for the Best Academician in the speciality of Prosthodontics in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
He pursues a private practice dedicated to General Dentistry with a keen interest in Implantology and Rehabilitations and is working on the clinical applications of Osseodensification in Posterior Maxilla which is his current interest. He visited Tokushima University Japan in 2017 to further his interest in learning Dental sleep Medicine and Sleep Apnea.
